Day 2 — Saturday, 8 August 2026

Session II: Roles & Responsibilities in Filmmaking

Explore the various departments involved in filmmaking and understand the responsibilities of producers, directors, writers, cinematographers, editors, sound designers, actors, and production teams.

Day 3 — Sunday, 9 August 2026

Session III: Appreciation of Cinema

A comprehensive session focused on understanding cinema as an art form, exploring storytelling techniques, visual language, film analysis, and the cultural impact of cinema.

About the Masterclass Series

The Delhi Marathi Film Festival 2026, in collaboration with the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), presents a three-day masterclass series conducted by Prof. Dr. Milind Damle. Designed for aspiring filmmakers, students, and cinema enthusiasts, the program offers practical and creative insights into filmmaking and cinematic storytelling.

Participants will gain exposure to film production, industry workflows, and critical appreciation of cinema through interactive sessions and discussions.

Important Note

⚠️ This is a three-day masterclass series and registration is valid for all three sessions only.

Attendance on all three days (7, 8, and 9 August 2026) is mandatory to receive the official participation certificate.

Participants who miss any session will not be eligible for certification.
