Synopsis:
Hindurao Dhonde-Patil (Nilu Phule) has established a co-operative empire on the deserted lands of a village and become the uncrowned king of the region. With the help of Sarjerao, a local goon, he has built a parallel government and safeguards his stronghold at all costs.
Master (Shriram Lagoo), an aged Gandhian haunted by personal tragedy, accidentally enters Hindurao’s world and gradually discovers the truth behind the disappearance of Maruti Kamble (Mohan Agashe).
As Master continues to question Hindurao despite repeated warnings, an intense battle of ideologies unfolds between the two men—ultimately leading to “Saamna.”
